She shrugged. That wasn't the most straight-forward answer, but she thought she could follow it. She could control her own power to some degree, but hadn't thought of biokinesis as dangerous. "Destruction and distortion... you mean you could use it to... make some one lose their bones?" She bit her lip, suddenly unsure of how much she wanted to know about his power. She had just placed a bad mental image in her mind, and she wanted to lose it. She cringed at the thought of a person lying in a puddle with no shape whatsoever. "Uh.. don't answer that."

Mr. K didn't desire to answer that question, either. A vague disgust crossed his features, suggesting he wasn't so fond of that side of his abilities, "I've done things I regret, when I didn't have control. But it's what inspired me to learn, which is why GEAA was able to help me. You need to want success in order to earn it." He wouldn't lie and say he couldn't do the things she was thinking, but figured it was better not to reassure her assumptions. He didn't want his powers to scare her.

She grimaced again, forcing her thoughts away from that topic. "Yeah, I guess," She said absentmindedly, wondering where the conversation was going. She flicked her tail and glanced around, back at the buildings in the distance and around at the trees beside her. "Well, I think everyone has done some thing that they regret now. Making mistakes is a part of life, I guess." In the background of her thoughts, she wondered why she was being so open to the doctor. Was it maybe because she could finally confide in someone? Or was his friendliness to her so different that she didn't know how to react but with some of the same attitude? She couldn't remember talking this much in a while.

"That's true, especially here. We learn from them." Mr. K replied with a small smile, briefly glancing down to his wrist watch before returning his eyes to Clary up in her tree. He'd lost track of time speaking with her, considering he was quite a busy man most of the time, being the head doctor for an academy of hundreds. Someone was always sick or injured, or there was just paperwork that needed to be done.
"Unfortunately, this conversation will have to be continued another time. I have appointments to keep. Would you care to return to campus with me?" He offered, politely as ever.

She saw him glance down at his watch, and realized that they had spent a lot of time talking. She paused, considering his invitation, then accepted it with a nod. She probably had classes to get to or some leftover homework to finish. She lept down from her branch, bending her knees and braced for the impact. Then she rose again, and waited for him. "How long have you been out here?" She assumed that he had come out here and found her, not that he had been wandering.

Mr. K shown another involuntary cringe as Clary leapt so effortlessly from the branch to the ground beside him. He was impressed by her athleticism, but remained disturbed by the idea itself. He was never a fan of heights. "Well I initially had a phone call to make." he explained, patting his jacket pocket where a cellphone sat, starting the brief trek back toward campus with her, "But then I thought to come find you, so I suppose not very long."

She followed after him, light on her feet. She felt somewhat relieved that she hadn't taken up too much of his time - he probably had better things to do than to talk to her. She walked in silence for a while, not knowing what to say and brooding over her own thoughts. Silence was fine with her - it allowed her to think. She would talk if Mr. K broke her thoughts and started another conversation. She looked around as they left the woods, blinking in the bright sunlight. It had been blocked by the canopy of leaves while they had talked amongst the trees.

((See ya later then! ^^))
Mr. K allowed the comfortable silence as they walked, not minding it, either, so long as it wasn't awkward. After a short while, though, he tilted his head to glance at her again, noticing her reaction to the sun. It made him smile, reminding him once again of his own family, "Are your eyes sensitive to the light?"

OOC: I'm back!
IC: She was surprised by his question, never having been asked that before. Truth be told, she hadn't really thought about it. She shrugged. "I guess. I mean, since I have enhanced senses, I can only assume they are. Enhanced senses and feline abilities. I can see fairly well in the dark, so I suppose that would be a yes," She replied. She wondered about the origin of his smile, but decided against asking.

Mr. K slowly nodded his head in response, noting that bit of information away in case it may be of importance later. He glanced ahead again as they walked, silent another brief moment before deciding to explain himself, even if she didn't ask, "My cousin has similar abilities, at least in terms of his eyes and senses."

She nodded in understanding, grateful for the explanation. "I see. He is gifted with enhanced senses?" She offered. He didn't have to answer the sort of half-question. She glanced down at her hands, still with the feline shape to them. Before her eyes, the morphed back to regular hands, and her tail disappeared as well. She flexed her fingers, her nails shortened to normal length and no longer lethal. It always felt wierd switching from one form to another.

"His powers are complicated...similar to yours, I suppose, but grew continually worse over time. As if his powers were attacking his body, he was nearly blind by the end of his four years here, but could hear someone coming for miles." Mr. K explained, glancing down to Clary's hands as they transitioned back to their normal form. It was an interesting sight to see, "He's also incredibly strong, similar to your athleticism I suppose."

She blinked at the mutation of the cousin's powers. "Oh. I hope he's okay now," She said, continuing her thought silently in her mind: And not blind and deaf. Also, I'm glad that's not me." She saw his gaze fall to her hands and didn't know how to react. She just left them there, hanging. She wondered about this cousin of Mr. K's. He sounded like he had powers similar to hers, with out the feline part.

"Hmm, he's doing a lot better." Mr. K smiled, appreciating Clary's concern, regardless of whether or not it was just cordial conversation. He brought his eyes away from her hands as he noticed her sort of awkwardly holding them there, not wanting to make her uncomfortable. He was silent another brief moment, not sure what else there was to say. Sometimes it was better not to force it.
Soon enough they came to the edge of campus, where all of the buildings were clustered together, with the infirmary made clear with a big red cross above the door. "I suppose I'll see you around soon, Clary." he spoke up again, giving her a polite bow of his head.

She looked up, not realizing that they had been so close. She nodded to him. "I'll see you around, I guess. Nice talking with you." She gave him a small smile then walked away to her dorm, curiosities about all she had learned flying around in her head.
