((Alrighty!))
Catlynn looked the picture over another moment, "Do you have a pen?" he asked, but began to speak about what was wrong anyway, "I think it's because you started with the head when you drew it. It's better, at least when you're starting, to use a wire frame to get the structure right first."

He glanced around at the items on the ground. He lifted a few of his books, and saw one lying in the shadows beside the tree. "Uh, yeah, here you go." He handed the pen to Catlynn. He nodded slowly as the other student explained the problem with his drawing. It was true, he did start with the head, and the way he'd positioned the body made it look weird. "Yeah, I think that's it." He looked down at his own sheet of lined paper, and started sketching lightly. He drew a stick figure of someone standing with their hands in their pockets. "Like that?"

Catlynn thanked Nero for the pen and started sketching over his initial sketch to show the different faults, so he'd have a better understanding of what to fix. He glanced to the new sketch as it was addressed, nodding his head with a smile, "Yeah, that looks good. Keep in mind that the lengths should be about the same length, if not longer, than the torso and head." he added, pointing to that part of the sketch with his pen.

He nodded and fixed his sketch, adding length to the legs. He looked at it again, blinking. Just adding the length had made his sketch look more natural. He turned to look at Catlynn's sketch, and raised an eyebrow. "Cool. Now we add the body? I mean, like draw the outline of arms and everything so it's not a stick figure." He looked back at one of the doodles on the page, a person. He compared it to his sketch and decided that already, his sketch was looking more life-like, with everything in proportion.

Catlynn was quite enjoying this little artistic exchange, and that enjoyment shown clearly on his features. "Yeah details go in now." he replied with a small grin, refraining from drawing anything now and just letting Nero have a go at it, to see how well he did without instruction. He could already see improvement as well, which was promising, it meant Nero had the eye for it.

The boy nodded, moving the textbook and paper onto his lap so he was more comfortable. He worked at his own pace now, lightly drawing in the details. He drew the outline then the clothes. He placed the person's hands in their pockets, and drew the pants baggy. He gave his drawing a tee-shirt, displaying arms that did a lot of work in the gym. The man's head, he hesitated on. He sketched around the circle, giving it the general shape of the human head, then paused again. "Uh..." He said lamely.

Catlynn watched Nero intently as he drew, a pleasant smile hovering on his lips as the sketch developed on paper. He was crouched opposite the other boy, possibly a little closer than was comfortable for certain people, but that was just how Catlynn was. He never really noticed when he was invading someone's 'personal bubble'. He glanced up as Nero was stuck, however, quirking a brow, "What's wrong? You're stuck?"

Nero looked up and was surprised to find the other boy so close to him. He didn't want to hurt the other boy's feelings, so scrunched up his face while moving slightly to the side. He dug a rock out of hte ground by the tree's base. "Stupid rock," He muttered, throwing it away despite the fact that it actually hadn't been in the way. He looked back down at his drawing. "Uh.. actually I am. I can't draw faces really.." Absentmindedly, he sketched the hair, then waited for any helpful tips.

Catlynn glanced curiously at the rock as Nero threw it out of the way, which effectively brought him a bit further away from the other boy, without noticing. He thoughtfully rubbed his chin as he viewed Nero's drawing, watching as he drew in the hair. "I'd suggest starting with the ears, you can use them as reference." He explained, using his own face as an example, not that it was the most 'natural' of examples with all of his piercings and bright colors, "The eyes start at the top of the ears, and the nose ends at the bottom of the ears."

He turned his attention to Catlynn's sketch, looking at the ears. "I see." Nero looked back at his own and sketched the ears. He then glanced at the other boy's face just to get a reference, and started adding the eyes. They turned out slightly lopsided and he bit his lip thoughtfully. This drawing in total wasn't that bad, it was just the face that was making him stuck. He moved down the face and drew the nose so it ended around the bottom of his person's ears. He then looked back at Catlynn's sketch, comparing them.

Catlynn continued to observe Nero's progress, remaining still as the other boy used his face as a reference, and smiled as the sketch took on full shape. He noticed the slight lopsidedness of the face, but it was good for his beginning efforts. He figured going to art class would help with that, it just took practice, "Looking good." he grinned, giving him a thumbs up.

Nero ginned as well, setting own drawing aside and reaching for another sheet of paper. "Thanks. Ever wanted to draw a wolf?" He wanted to see if Catlynn could draw wolves as well as his people. He put the paper on the textbook in his lap. He handed the other boy a blank sheet of paper too, not caring if he used up all the lined paper in his note book. What else was it for? Actually keeping notes in class?

"A wolf? Yeah guess so." Catlynn shrugged with a slight smile. He wasn't as big on drawing animals as people, since people was where most of his attention lay, but he had drawn different animals for classes before, including canines. He knew he wasn't a genius on the subject, though, he was still a student like anyone else. "Is that you're specialty?" he asked, not meaning it in a mocking tone, just a general curiosity.

Nero shrugged, then said, "Yeah, it is. Like I said, I'm more for animals than people." He started sketching a circle absentmindedly, planning on adding on the features. Right now it was just a circle. He assumed that Catlynn knew how to draw a canine, more or less a wolf, so he didn't really say anything, letting the own boy draw in his own style. Nero just wanted to compare what he was good in to the other artisitc boy.

Catlynn observed Nero silently for a short while as he drew, noting how he started with just a circle and branched out form there. He smiled to himself, remembering his own methods that by that point contrasted the 'beginning' method, as he'd now been practicing art for years. His attention was taken as the clock tower atop the main building rang, "Oh shoot! Class is starting." He quickly jumped to his feet, "I'm gonna be late...you wanna come? You can meet the teacher."
