In order to maintain a comfortable atmosphere here on GEAA, there are certain rules that everyone must abide by. Anyone who disobeys these rules will be punished depending on the severity of their actions. Play nice!
1. Your username should be the name of your first character, with no extra characters such as "Bob!!!!" or "BoBbYbOy". Just keep it simple and easy to read. Icons should be 100x100, and signatures shouldn't exceed the size of 500x200px.
2. There is to be no harassing, name-calling, teasing, disrespect, or any other unkind action against any other member. If you dislike another member, feel free to do so offsite, but it will not be permitted here. Also do not let your characters dislike another character just because you may dislike that member. Be mature here.
3. This forum is rated PG-13 due to violence, language, and adult situations. Any in character situations involving adult themes should be taken elsewhere. Any images should be linked instead of posted directly into posts, with a clear warning as to what it is.
4. No godmodding or mary sue's. This basically means your character's abilities should be reasonable with strengths and weaknesses like anyone else. Your character shouldn't be able to dodge every hit or know things they shouldn't. Also, you may not post the actions of another member's character without their permission!
5. Posts should be made in third person, past tense, at least a basic paragraph per post (3 sentences). While we don't expect anyone to be writing novels here, we do appreciate a certain level of literacy and knowledge of the English language. Also, your character must not be in more than one place at once. Your character must leave one thread/location before entering another.
6. There is currently no limit to the number of characters a member can have. This does not mean you should quickly apply for ten different characters only to use five of them at a time. Only take on as many characters as you can handle! It will be expected that you keep all characters active at all times, unless given a logical reason otherwise. People who seem to be overloading themselves will be given a limit.
7. More rules may be added or modified depending on demand and need.
