Running around in a sling? At least she could do that. Clary shrugged. "I'll find a way to make it not look silly," She replied, half sincere half joking. Wait, a sling? She paused. He never said anything about a sling, but thinking back it seemed obvious. If something was wrong with your arm you put it in a sling. It's always happened that way, she guessed. She half smiled in the darkness.

"I'm sure you will, Clary." Mr. K mused, soon glancing back in the direction of school...alright, he really needed to be getting back now. Somehow, they managed to keep conversing when they both should have been in bed. He knew he was going to be absolutely exhausted tomorrow, something he could easily mask with his powers, but it didn't mean he could just get over it with them, either. "Now then, you need to get back to your dorm and I need to get back to my cozy bed."

She saw him glance back at the school and knew what was coming. She agreed almost instantly, remembering how tired she had been before the fall. The adrenaline must have given her extra energy, but now it was wearing off. She stretched, wincing slightly as she jarred her wrist. She lowered it, turning back into full human, wondering distantly how it would affect her wrist from healing. She figured that cat bones were different from people's, but didn't know if her bone structure changed when she became cat. Hopefully it wouldn't irriate the healing process too much. She turned and started walking back to the dorm, glancing behind her.

Mr. K walked along with Clary as she started back toward the dorms, noticing her change and mulled over the same thought for a moment. It was something he could investigate himself, but he was too tired and too eager to return to his warm, comfy bed to mention it now. Instead he reached into his jacket pocket, pulling out a small packet of two aspirin pills. He always carried them around, in case a child might've needed them, "Here, if you need them." he offered, as children weren't allowed to hold onto the pills themselves unless a special case, "Come by my office tomorrow so I can do some further healing on your wrist."

"Thanks." She took them in case she might need them later in the night, putting them in her pocket. She wondered what she should do about sleeping, but decided that she'd just not sleep on her left side. Easier said than done, Clary mused. She often rolled around when she slept. She could already tell that the next few nights weren't going to be her best. All for one climb on the tree. She walked in silence for the next few steps, then turned at the fork where they would split ways. She looked back. "Ok."

Mr. K was also silent as they walked, after uttering a simple, "Welcome" in response to her thanks. As they came to the fork, he turned back to her as well, nodding to her with a pleasant smile, though it likely went unseen, "Good night, Clary. See you in the morning." he remarked, quite looking forward to going home to sleep now.

She raised her right hand in farewell, yawning. She stuffed her hands in her pockets and trudged back to her dorm. Her bed sounded quite inviting, and she knew that morning would come sooner than later.
