It was later in the day, and Koen Lammert returned to his home after meeting with Snow to get situated. He'd just arrived the day before, so his things weren't yet sorted or put away completely. He entered the small house, shuffling in the pocket of his casual, dark-grey suit for his keys.
Daniel Masters approached the house, which he shared with the psychologist now, after a time of having the home to himself, "Oh, hello... Koen Lammert, right?" He did his best not to seem awkward, sort of shifting his exposed arm behind his back.
Koen turned his head, looking the other man over briefly, "Yes, you're the ability control instructor."
"Daniel Masters." he smiled, extending his normal hand as an offer to shake, which Koen returned out of obligation. "I hope you're settling in okay."
Koen nodded his head, not returning the other staff member's smile, but did show a bit of cordial appreciation for the other's presence, "Well, I suppose. I half expected this home to be filled with the past inhabitants things."
"Oh, I haven't shared this home in a long while." Daniel shrugged, somewhat self-consciously. In truth, it was due to his 'night terrors' that occurred just about every time he convinced himself, or was forced to, sleep. Even with the wall between their homes, it always disturbed his neighbors.
Koen glanced toward Daniel's arm, his psychic abilities allowing him to read Daniel's thoughts, "Your arm..." He could feel a faint heat coming from it, and could see the strange purpley skin beneath the bandages, "It's hot?"
Daniel subconsciously concealed his arm a bit more as it was addressed, but slowly nodded his head, "Yes...if I weren't controlling it now, it'd be boiling to the touch.." He sighed, never liking to talk about it, but he was a fellow staff member.
"I see.." Koen eyed it silently a moment, before simply turning and entering his home, closing the door behind him without another word. Daniel was slightly puzzled by the lack of a polite goodbye, but figured it was just how Koen was, and soon returned to his own home as well.
